Dougal Kirkland

This short film details the processes and inspiration behind the work of artist Dougal Kirkland.

Follow Dougal through Preselli and Crymlyn bogs, and back into his studio and Gloucestershire Printmaking Cooperative as he creates some of the work that will feature in his upcoming exhibition at SVA John St Gallery, Stroud.

The exhibition - Reassurance Across The Aeons - ran from 31st Oct to 9th Nov 2025, and this video featured alongside Dougal’s wetland-influenced drawings, prints and research.
